ABOUT US

We are the Church of Christ which meets in Whitewright, TX. We are pilgrims on a journey to the Promised Land--an eternal home with God. We are imperfect people, but we have been washed by the blood of the Lamb, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We seek to do God's will in all that we do, and we depend on his forgiveness whenever we fall short. We always are open to people joining us in this walk which we share with each other and with Christians all over the world.

OUR VISION

We share the vision of our awesome God: that He wants all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Tim 2:4). Our hope is that we can shine the light of God in our community and so lead as many people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as possible.

OUR MISSION

Similar and related to our vision, we take our mission from what Jesus instructed his disciples: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matt 28:19-20). We try to fulfill this mission through our community activities, our witness as a church, and our individual lives of faith.

OUR COMMUNITY

We are a dedicated group of people trying to live faithfully before God. From young children to those who have many years of experience, we are a family that is journeying through this life together. We use our various gifts, talents, and experiences to support each other and to further the work of God in this world.
